Let's Make Zines! (12:00pm - 2:00pm)

Hosted by Grounded32 facilitated by Shawn Pfunder every other week (to find out if it's happening this week, visit the homepage calendar). Are you an artist? A writer? A creative soul? Come and make your own mini-magazine (aka zine)! During this two-hour workshop, you'll write, design, and publish your own 8-page zine. Fill the pages with a manifesto, poetry, photographs - whatever you want! We'll provide all the materials you need - all you have to bring is you. Art in the Afternoon (3:30pm - 6:30pm)

Hosted and facilitated by an anonymous volunteers on the 3rd week of each month (begins in May). This event is for women recovering from sexual assault. Join us to heal from trauma through creativity and feel less alone. Suggested $5 - $10 donation to the host if it can be afforded. No More Mr. Nice Guy (6:30pm - 7:30pm)

Hosted and facilitated by Jesse Busch every week. A group for men looking to improve themselves and their interpersonal relationships. Inspired by the No More Mr. Nice Guy book, authored by Dr. Robert Glover. Open to anyone who identifies as male. Addresses issues related to codependency and personal growth. Open to anyone who identifies as male. Cost is $10 to attend, paid to the facilitator. DBT Workbook Group (9:00pm- 10:00pm)

Hosted by Grounded32 and facilitated by Sarah B. every week on Zoom (ID: 491 724 8165, password: Grounded32). Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) has proven to be effective in the treatment of trauma, depression, anxiety, and personality disorders, etc. It focuses on 4 key topics: mindfulness, emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness. This is a workbook support group, not a clinical therapy group. The workbook used is: The Dialectical Behavioral Therapy Skills Workbook by Matthew McKay, Jeffrey Would, and Jeffrey Brantley. Lit150 Creative Writing (5:00pm - 6:00pm)

Hosted by Grounded32 and facilitated by Shawn Pfunder every week. Want to write, but feel stuck? Want to stretch your creative wings? Come as you are!  All you need is a pen, some paper, and your beautiful life experience. We open each workshop with a brief writing exercise and discussion. Open Mic Music Night (6:30 - 9:00pm)

Hosted and facilitated by Cowboy Wrecks every week. Open to anyone who'd like to share music they've created, sip some coffee, and chat with others who enjoy the healing power of music. Sound equipment and recording available. This event takes place inside the Genesis Church auditorium, just a few suites down from Grounded32. Hosted by Grounded32 and facilitated by Katelyn D. every week. Open to everyone. Bring your own supplies or borrow some of ours! Canvases, paints, brushes, sponges, water bowls, beads, magazines, and craft supplies available to use for free. An activity will be provided for those who desire inspiration. These might include: create a miracle jar, painting mandalas on stones, custom made greeting cards, collective tile mural, or hanging affirmations with watercolor. Story Slam Event (6:30pm - 8:00pm)

Hosted by Grounded32 community members every other week (to find out if it's happening this week, visit the homepage calendar). Come listen to people tell true stories about their lives! It's unscripted and everyone is invited to share. We'll choose the theme at 6:30pm so participants have 30-minutes to think of a story related to this theme. Special Events by Now What? (12:00pm - 2:00pm)

Hosted and facilitated by Rebecca of Now What?. These special events take place on the 3rd Saturday of the month. Now What? provides free workshops led by qualified clinicians who have generously donated their time to untangle some of life's tough issues (boundaries, self-love, diet culture, etc.). We strive to create a neutral, relaxed space where you can come as you are, ask questions, and learn something that might just set you free. Reiki Shares (2:00pm - 4:00pm)

Hosted and facilitated by Zee Tedesco and Kim Wycoff on the 4th Saturday of each month. Reiki masters and practitioners share their talents to develop their skills and practice. All Reiki practitioners, lightworkers, drop-ins, family, and friends are cordially invited to attend! The suggested “table time donation” is $10 - $15 for 10 - 15 minutes. Crystal Bowl Sound Healing (5:00pm - 7:00pm)

Both events are hosted by and facilitated by Al T. on the 3rd Saturday of each month. Every other month is a Personal Growth group, and every other month is Crystal Bowl Sound Healing. This group began as an alumni gathering for people who have graduated from a treatment center of any kind (addiction, mental health, grief, etc.), but has flourished into a general interpersonal growth group for anyone that wants to continue self-improvement and self-acceptance. It’s a friendly and supportive place for people in all stages of life. Suggested $5 donation to the facilitator to cover facility use fee.
